HeartMath Benelux provides in-company trainings, open workshops for individuals and train the trainer workshops for professional users.

The Heartmath institute is an American organisation, which was founded in 1991 as non-profit organisation by Doc Childre. The institute has done extensive research over the last 12 years into the human physiology and the effects of stress.

HeartMath has developed unique training programmes, which go beyond the theory of behaviour management and have been shown to deliver measurable improvements globally in personal performance, staff turnover, personal health and thereby organisational effectiveness. The major differentiator of our programmes is that their impact can be measured and improvements sustained in the long-term. All of the data (Business chapter for objective and subjective data) have been generated in collaboration with Shell, BP and Unilever working closely with their own scientists and medical practitioners.

“HeartMath is a unique stress reductions system that is unusually effective for reducing anxiety and improving performance. Unlike many other products and services that make similar claims, it has a solid scientific basis, and has been thoroughly tested in a variety of settings that have clearly demonstrated these benefits.”
Paul J. Rosch, M.D., F.A.C.P., President of the American Institute of Stress and Clinical Professor of Medicine and Psychiatry, New York Medical College.

In 2003 the HeartMath research was awarded with the TMC labs innovation award for the Freeze-Framer® bio-feedback system. Research studies by HeartMath have been published in journals such as the The American Journal of Cardiology, Journal of advancement in Medicine and Stress Magazine. Also the Harvard Business Review of July 2003 has done an extensive article on HeartMath.

HeartMath's successes have been featured in media stories on CNN, ABC World News Tonight, NBC's Today Show, Good Morning America, the Lifetime Network, New York Times and the Wall Street Journal. HeartMath's key corporate clients include Shell, Hewlett-Packard, Liz Claiborne, Cisco Systems, BP, Boeing, Sony, BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit), Unilever, numerous hospitals, as well as federal and state agencies, and the U.S. military.

On July 19 HeartMath was honored to have their handheld emWave Personal Stress Reliever® technology be the first recipient of the American Institute of Stress Award for Distinction and Innovation.
