Building Personal Resilience - HeartMath Coach Certification (Online with live trainer)
In the course, you learn and become certified to use the HeartMath skill set of science, training, methods and techniques, and to teach HeartMath’s scientifically validated tools in one-on-one or small group settings. You will learn best practices to support your clients in identifying goals, expanding their awareness of stress as a source of energy drains, and transforming stress into renewing energy and resilience.
This in-depth program gives you a toolbox of research-based techniques for coaching others in core skills that can build and sustain resilience and boost performance.
You will learn how to instruct your clients in using the practical techniques of HeartMath and the use of the emWave® Pro (biofeedback equipment for professional use) and Inner BalanceTM Trainer (biofeedback equipment for home use/client).
- A license that allows for the commercial use of HeartMath’s intellectual property and to promote yourself as a HeartMath trained professional.

The online training course to become a HeartMath Coach includes:
- four individual online coaching sessions by a licensed HeartMath coach in which the participants are coached according to the HeartMath Building Personal Resilience program
- five online training day sessions of 4 hours each with two to three weeks in between the lessons
- using and applying the emWave technology in practice
- homework assignments between the training days
- clear instructions on how to teach the HeartMath techniques to clients through the HeartMath Working on Resilience program. You will be trained to:
- support him/her in determining his/her goals
- help him/her recognize sources of stress and the accompanying energy leaks
- explain self-regulation techniques
- support him in finding strategies to come to his own solutions
- allow a structure to be found that makes room for feedback about the experienced stress level in the daily routine
- support him/her in such a way that he/she carries out the exercise plan and achieves sustainable results.

License
After completing this training you will receive a license allowing you to use the patented techniques and the HeartMath Building Personal Resilience program for commercial use in a 1 to 1 setting. This license includes:
- permission to use HeartMath's intellectual property commercially in a 1 on 1 setting
- promoting yourself as coach in the HeartMath method
- and the use of the official HeartMath Coach logo
HeartMath Resource Center
As a HeartMath Coach you get access to the HeartMath Resource Center with:
- entitlement to a discount on HeartMath products of up to 20%
- entitlement to a mention on the HeartMath Benelux/Europe website as HeartMath Coach
- access to the HeartMath USA Hub network of continuous training and professionalization
You have free access until 1 September. After that we charge an annual training fee of € 120,-. We use this for organizing professionalization days, intervision and network meetings. It is not compulsory to pay the annual training fee. In that case, you miss out on the above benefits.

Home study
- prior to or in between the parts of the training program you will have four individual sessions with a licensed HeartMath coach and you will practice at home with the emWave Pro.
- during the training you practice at home with the techniques offered and you do the homework assignments.
- during the training you train a person from your own environment with the HeartMath Working on Resilience program and you report on this
- homework load of +/- 20 hours

- we are assuming that you have a laptop with emWave Pro at your disposal during the training program; if you don't have one yet you can purchase one from us with a 20% discount on the standard price.
- attendance at the training days is a prerequisite for obtaining the certificate.
